Viewing a Scan

View Screen #

  1. Pinch to Zoom / Tap to Drag: You can pinch to zoom in or out of the scan. When zoomed in, you can tap and drag across the scan to rotate it.
  2. AR: Switch to showing the scan in AR (augmented reality) mode, where the scan is placed in the field of view of your camera. See more options.
  3. Reset: Reset the scan to the original view and orientation.
  4. Close Button: Tap on this button to close the scan view and return to the map and observation pane.
  5. Compare Scan: Open an additional scan from the list to compare the two side by side. See more options.

Augmented Reality Mode #

  1. AR: Tap the AR button to return to regular view mode.
  2. Tabletop / 1:1 Scale: Switch between a scaled down “tabletop” view of the scan versus seeing it in full 1:1 scale.
  3. Rotate Left / Right: rotate the scan in AR mode in 90-degree increments.
  4. Close: Close the scan and go back to the menu screen.
  5. Compare Scan: Open an additional scan from the list to compare the two side by side. See more options.

Compare Scan #

  1. Pinch to Zoom / Tap to Drag: You can pinch to zoom in or out of the scan. When zoomed in, you can tap and drag across the scan to rotate it.
  2. Reset: Reset the scans to their original view and orientation.
  3. Link Scans: Link the position, scale, and rotation of the two scans as you tap to move them on the screen.
  4. A/B Comparison: Overlap the two scans to compare them overlaid on each other. In this mode, tap and swipe back and forth on the ‘left/right’ arrow button to see the differences between the two scans.
  5. Close: Tap the close button on the right-side scan to go back to single scan view.
